My heart is shattered seeing the horrific scenes in Palestine. There is sadness, and anger.

And with all that, there is also so much hope, because I have witnessed humans when they love.

And there is a deep, ancient knowing resting in my womb: We, as humanity, can change the current narrative, because I have seen the most magical and beautiful stories unfold right before my eyes.

I was deeply touched by humans, held, loved, nurtured, lovingly held accountable. We, as human race, we are the creators of so much beauty, of connection, of love. We can create anything that we can imagine.

This is our nature.

This is truth.

And that’s why I felt called to use what is dearest to me and what I know best: my art. I decided to create a "Photoritual for Peace" and sell the prints to support children in Palestine. Along with my assistant and photographer Julia Vogel, the wonderful Francesca aka Paradox Priestess, and four beautiful muses, we embarked on a deep journey—a Ritual for Inner Peace.

Instead of just coming together to pray, I wanted to focus on peace within. It is so easy to pint fingers, but where are the places inside of you, where you are still at war? I believe peace starts within, and what plays out in the world is a reflection of our inner state. As above, so below. When we dive deeper into trust instead of fear, when we dive deeper into love, we become unstoppable; we become vessels for love, we multiply love. We are so incredibly powerful - especially when we are doing it together.

My idea was that the photographs we created become invocations of peace—meaning they hold the essence of an Inner Peace Ritual I held for these my muses. They are spells of beauty. The imagery and our ritual were inspired by the symbol of the white dove. The light. The innocence. The bringer of peace. And: Most of the women in the pictures are mothers, devastated by seeing other children suffer.

If you buy a print, I will donate all the proceeds, minus material costs, taxes, and delivery, to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund. This fund helps injured children in Gaza receive treatment.

Let’s make a difference in the world, even if it seems like a small one; it is an important one. Let’s send out a dove into the world, to Palestine and all the other countries that are occupied. And send another one into your home to find its place on your wall.
