Slumbering Gods,
that is who we are,
you and me,
all of humanity.
We are dreaming life.
And for the briefest of moments
we become lucid,
before our eyelids get heavy again
and we lean back into sleep.
"Dreamtime II" is part of the Dreaming Series: photographs that depict myths about the Soul Cosmos and sleeping gods on planet Earth, telling the story of our human race. Amongst all these slumbering creatures, one awakens for a brief moment and reaches out to the cosmos and to infinity. The next moment, sleep catches her again, and she returns to her slumber.
